problems with firefox 3.5.2 hanging

hi just wondering if anyone else is experiencing firefox hangs ( pointer swirls around ) and after about 30secs pops back into life , although once or twice i did have to use "force quit" on the firefox process. tia brendan

I really noticed it bad yesterday, I'm having problems with firefox on my windows and mac, gone back to safari on the mac and it's flying along and internet explorer on windows working perfect.

firefox seems fecked what ever has happend, and it's not the computers..

Disable all add-ons, restart Firefox and see if it recurs.

Was having awful trouble like this. Updated to the latest version of Flash and it's only happened about once since then. Firefox still crashes randomly though, especially when it's left idle -- come back and I'm prompted to send an error report
