Image of soundwave application?!

Hey all,

I'm developing a website for an acoustics company and wondered if any of you know of an application whereby an audio sound can be visually produced onscreen - and then to save that sound spectrum visually as an image file? (preferably as a dynamic file and not a screen grab) I need the image to have a transfarent background to work with the web!!

audacity will do half of what you after don't know about the dynamic bit though

Sonic Visualiser is pretty interesting... you have to poke around the interface a bit to see the images though.

Thanks for that DonkeyStyle - but the sound wave has to be relatively clean to use as a logo. I think this project mightn't be a runner to be honest!
