Taxi ranks in Fingal

    Can people tell me where there are taxi ranks in the Fingal County Council area?

    In Skerries there are official ranks at the following locations:
    Opposite the Pier House Hotel on Harbour Road
    Little Strand Street (next to Garda Station)

    There are unofficial 'gatherings' of taxis outside Keane's Bus Bar on Strand Street, pretty much 24/7. Also, on Friday & Saturday nights there'll be a good line of taxis outside Ollie's on New Street.

    Pavillions SC Swords about 6 spaces
    Night time rank outside Gibneys Malahide about 8 spaces
    Northside Shopping Centre (is that Fingal? ) 6 spaces ( I think)

    Opposite Xtravision in Balbriggan - outside of the Cab office. Also outside of Balbriggan Train Station in front of the Dry Cleaners.

    Why dont you just email FCC and ask them :confused:

    Fingal is a fairly big area and isnt just NCD.

    Good aul civil service eh, efficiency at its best, Co.Councils being the prime example!

    If you are that desperate for it ask your local councillor. Thats what they are paid for!
