There won't be any air circulation in the boot but there will be plenty of fresh air. Who ever you but in the boot will be safe, just mind how they're gaged:D

    really hard one to call,
can you give information on the car?
as to air circualtion, whether its poor or not, well thats an opinion not fact, so could you also tell us what you consider poor air circualtion, numbers please!!
also to help decide if the ait circulation is adequate can you also mention what its for?

the more information you put out there the better the responses...
very little information, usually means people can't help you..

The answer is yes, there is poor (to none) air circulation in the boot of your car.

    Need proof?
Stick your soggy wet dog in the boot of your car, leave to simmer for 15 minutes, enjoy the overwhelming pong as you open the boot.

I drive a Passat and my dog loves getting into the boot and plastering hairs on every piece of carpet in the boot. I even find hairs under the spare tyre. Only a dog knows how to do that.

I sometimes wonder where does the fresh air be coming from. If fresh air can get in.. then so can water right?

The gap between the rear seats isn't waterproof/airtight...

There are no vents in the boot, no air holes.
    Yes, very bad circulation.
