If it passed DoE, then it should fly through NCT.

The DoE has to be thorough, as if you drive out of the centre and get stopped by the Gardai/RSA, and something defective is found, then the DoE centre can, as far as I know, be held responsible.

Nct can't test commercials but you could just get it DOE tested

Slightly off-topic but does your car have to be taxed to go through the NCT?

What a complete waste of time any money, its hard enough trying to get an NCT appointment without the likes of this carry on.

It has to be registered privately for the NCT.

    No.

FYI, if you move to a 'smart' meter electricity plan, you CAN'T move back to a non-smart plan.

You don't have to take a 'smart' meter if you don't want one, opt-out is available.

Buy drinks in 3L or bigger plastic bottles or glass bottles or cartons to avoid the DRS fee.
