between KZ2 and Resistance 2 I'd rate Resistance 2 higher. Better variety in enemies, weapons and locations. KZ2 just felt very... samey, although the multiplayer is supposedly vastly superior to Resistance 2's.

So I guess take that into consideration, if you're not going to be playing much MP Resistance 2 would probably be a better buy.

Why is everyone ignoring Motorstorm Pacific Rift?

Besides Burnout Paradise, it is the best racer on the PS3 [IMO]. Wipeout HD and GT Prologue don't come close to the multiplayer experience. Well worth investing in if you like racing games.

Excellent reason for me to try KZ2 rather than get the royal screwjob from IW or whoever for MW2.

Resistance 2 was one of the biggest let downs i have ever experienced, after loving R1 i found R2 to be hopeless the 1 player mission is ok but the online is just flipping awfull ive never played a worse game on line since Haze. Way too many people in maps that just cant handle it.

Id get Killzone they have fixed all the early problems ( aiming / sluggish ) it really is a brilliant game now.

Motorstorm i have nt played dont think ill bother im not mad on those kind of games and i have Pure.

TBH I tought R2 to be fairly decent, kinda surprised initially by the amount of fire you're under from the get go- fairly intense in SP and one level being inspired very specifically by a classic sci-fi movie was excellent imo.

The MP is good if the map was big enough to support it -60 odd on each side makes for some decent skirmishes and the maps themselves aren't too bad, no real choke points and decent layouts, arcadey handling though.

KZ2 is a quality online FPS though, especially after all the updates and some of the maps are really good, prefer it to COD4.

I thought R2 was a pretty good game. The single player was decent but I put many hours into multiplayer.
