Cancelling setanta need help?

    I got the letter from them today telling me that its €203.88 for the year (I pay annually) and I want to cancel.

    Have they taken the money out at this stage or should I ring right away and cancel???

    I know your all sick of setanta threads but I really need help on this.

    I got the letter from Setanta last Thursday i rang up as soon as i opened the letter. I gave out about the cost and that 90% of their shows are bought from TV3, RTé. etc. Their was no offer on the table so i said i want to cancel now, they said the money had being taken out of my account. I said the letter only came today. As its on the letter we had up the 1st Augest to cancel. I am now writing am e-mail to them explain the above.

    Hi Guys!

    Have you either of you made any prior attempt to cancel?

    I think Setanta require 30 days notice before your billing date so if you are within that window, cancelling should be fine

    How long have you both subscribers to Setanta? Did you only take the annual out last year or has it been running for a few years?
