Any takers, I used to own one years ago. It was glorious. 3.5KB ram, the hard drive was a tape recorder. To load a game, you had to play a tape from start to fin (maybe 15 minutes) and hope that all went well. I'd kill to still own it

I have a commodore plus4 somewhere in the attic.

Had a few games on cassette tape aswell and an instruction manual that had simple programs that consisted of typing in about 10 pages of commands and after running, a small bubble or something appeared on the tv set for a couple of seconds and we thought we were up there with the best of nasa scientists for all our effort.Good old days.

My Da' still has the old C64 that we had as a kid,he bought it so it would get it us ahead in school, all we wanted to do was play games on it!:D

We had some great games on it,Zaxxon,Tooth Invaders,Hunchback of Notre dame. There were some magazines that came out with programmes you could type in yourself, various low tech games and suchlike. They invariably failed to run caused you missed a # or ~ somewhere along the line!!

    Vic 20
    Jelly Monsters
Moons of Jupiter (needed a 16K upgrade cartridge, though)

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

The VIC-20 was my first computer, given to me by my Aunt when she bought my Cousin a C64. I had the Omega Race cartridge, and the 16k expansion cartridge for the games requiring more memory. I still have it in pieces in my Mum's attic, along with my C64C, the 1541 Mk1 Disc Drive, the C64 Modem, a C64 printer, an original Apple IIe, a boxed Apple IIe modem from 1978, and an original Mac.

The frustrating thing about owning the VIC-20 and the C64 was that some idiot told my mother that allowing me to connect my computer to the TV would damage it, and she believed it. So I was relegated to some antiquated 12 inch B&W portable.

Yup ha not one but 2!

Lost count of the joysticks I smashed up with games like "combat school"

and the like. Anyone got "wizball" or the "last ninja"?

or "head over heels"? Great games.

"They sold a million" if I remember correctly? And it was Daley Thompson's Decathalon that sent mroe than one of my joysticks to the electronic graveyard.
