    Hi all,

I am just about to install an Esse 350 insert stove into a new fireplace. The question I have is 'do I need to install special fire bricks before I install the stove?' The fireplace will never be used as an open fire but I just want to be sure.
Also, out of curiosity, are they firebricks installed at the same time when the fireplace is being installed or is this on your own bat and not part of the installation of the fireplace? Just curious.

    Thanks all.
