I have just moved into a new home and looking for some advice as to what equipment i would need to run my sky to other rooms (3 bed & kitchen). All the rooms in the house are already AV wired with all the connections coming out at the main aerial socket behind the TV in the main room (4 cables). I have just had sky installed running into the main room and was looking for advice on how to run the sky box to other rooms, or at least to one of the other rooms.

Hi there. connect 1 of the spare co-axil cables in the main room to rf 2 output on the back of your sky box using a co-ax plug and female adaptor, crimp the inner cable in the coax plug.find the other end of this spare cable in your attic.(Identify the correct cable first) Then connect this cable to the input of a distributor that allows a dc voltage/sky return pass to the outputs. Then connect leads from other 4 rooms to the outputs on distributor. Finally make sure the that rf power is switched on at the sky box(this allows the use of "digi eyes" to change channels on the sky box at different tv sets).tune tv,s to recieve the sky box output. if you need further help send me a PM,as you will have to use hidden installer menus on the sky box to power on the rf output etc. good luck with your new home.G.
