Wierd coverage. Almost as if it wasn't live, they left as soon as they whistle went and then the screens behind the lads showed no players on the pitch!???

How many do we have to win now to get through?

Jesus Christ on a cross.....how do we do it?
MASSIVE 3 points, dreadful performance....still think we may be found out in the play offs.

I'm no fan of Robbie Keane, but fair play he took the winner like a true finisher

We got the result. We have been lucky the whole campaign. Still, I will take it

The phrase "the luck of the Irish" has never felt so apt.

if we win both of our last two games we will qualify automatically

Actually Italy will need to drop points elsewhere

If we're to beat Italy we need to do a Harlequins on it and fake a blood injury to one of our players and hope that one of the Italian's gets sent off.

Might be the only we can do it.

a midfield of andy reid and steven reid would be a 100% better than that god awful midfield

italy are also playing quite poorly these days. they aren't on top form themselves these days.

Or tighten up our policy on Italian tourists, make it so only Italians already here will be able to play!

Yes to think we are missing the two reids and Ireland. That said two good shots from Whelan and Andrews from outside box tonight.
Think both will start against Italy next month.

lol, dunphy shows his knowledge. Claiming mcgeady is definsively frail because he got two yellow cards at hibs last week and got sent off.

No it wouldnt, Andy reid as a centre mid in a 4 man midfield would be a disaster.

    great success!

    Shame our CM players suck.

Well done Robbie!! Hugely frustrating at times, but the one man who regularly comes up with the goods at the right time.

I have to say I don't blame the central midfield lads at all. They do their best and follow the game plan set by the manager.

While Dunne has had the odd calamatious moment (among lots of barnstorming displays), I've never seen him be so poor consistently for a full game. Maybe the City/Villa stuff affected his concentration, but he wasnt on his game today.

LOL at Dunphys interpretation of John O Sheas long ball tactics "WHHHOOFFF!!" :D

20/1, only had €1.50 on it though :p I can't afford high stakes anymore :D

Paddy power sayin it's a loser though

€1.50 To Win - Single Internet 1 Cyprus v Ireland
    Ireland 2 - 1
    20/1 Lose €0.00 €0.00
