in college, 2nd yr, im 19, so would i need anything of my own if i join my college's club, like would i need my own mitts/handwarps/shoes/shorts/shirts etc? or will they be available at like a discount.. or how much would like beginer kit cost?

how long will it take for me to be half decent at speed bag/sparring/jump rope(i havent done this one in years lol)

how long after i start would my first fight be? (well how long after you started was yours?), and will i get my nose broken often?

    thanks :D

You'd need your own hand wraps. Gloves and headgaurds are usually provided. You probably wouldnt need boxing shoes unless you really got into it and were at it a while. Having said that if you wanted to buy your own stuff im sure a college club would do a deal with members and give a heavy discount.

    Jump rope get easier everytime.

Speed bag the same but will probably take a little longer to get the hang of it.

Sparring: some people take to it immediatly, other longer but its al about practice, when you get to grips with basic punches, footwork, slips etc sparring will come on.

Plus you'll get fit real quick!!!
    Best of luck with it.
