I have used MLB.com when I was in the states, I believe they ship to Ireland but I imagine it would be a bit pricey.

    I can highly recommend here

I use them on a regular basis. Never once had an issue. The very first time I used them it took a couple of weeks and I thought this is never going to arrive so I complained, a day later the stuff arrived and they were courteous enough to refund me my shipping fee of $19 as I couldn't track the parcel.

Really? I ordered jays hoodie off them and after 6weeks and several emails they just told me they hadn't got it and refunded my money. very poor.

I never had an issue, as already said the first time I ordered I thought it was strange that I didn't have a tracking number to track my shipment and complained a couple of times over email with them eventually refunding me the shipping fee plus the goods were delivered pretty much on time. I and a friend of mine have used them since with no issues at all.

Each team has their own website with webshop [which actually links to MLB.coms webshop] so you can got to whichever team you like and browse their catalog.

Just a warning though. Whatever money you think you'll be saving with the euro to USD conversion will be eaten by the shipping costs.

its the easiest to get them through mlb.com and usually cheaper than actually buying them at a game/team store

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,854 ✭✭✭zuutroy

mlb.com is easily the most expensive place to buy jerseys by the time their comical shipping chargers are factored in.

Ive seen that site before and it looks good. Did you get screwed with customs over here or anything like that? I got a jersey from the NFL store once and i had to pay an additional 100 euro to get it from customs!

I haven't ordered from them yet, but ESPN America's shop (which is actually a company in the UK called TA Sports) has replica jerseys for 48 euro plus 6 euro shipping.

Their customer service is very responsive, and I have recommended them to people based on that.

Shipping aside, and fanaticism aside, it is just so cool to be waltzing around Ireland, or europe, in a good baseball jersey - especially if it isn't one of those Yankees jerseys everyone buys in Dunnes.

I'm new to the forum so I might not know all the rules but I myself have been looking for MLB jerseys and hats (Blue Jays specifically) for cheap.

A couple of websites I came across were www.dhgate.com and www.ioffer.com

DHGate is similar to eBay but all the sellers are in China. You're effectively dealing with the factory that makes the authentic jerseys themselves but the problem is they expect you to buy wholesale.

iOffer is similar but it's a bidding system. So you don't have to pay the full price listed. It's similar to going up to a store owner and asking if you can strike a deal.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 446 ✭✭paulelectronica

Thanks for that , im looking to buy another mets shirt but the delivery price is way too much from the Mets store online.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 3 z_nix

I'm still looking for Blue Jays jersey. The throwback ones where they won the world series back in 92-93. They are hard to find in the right size.

The only reason I suggested DHGate was because someone in the soccer forumn here had success dealing with DHGate. They give you all the tracking information so you know where your product is at all times.

I bought a soccer jersey from DHGate yesterday. Kind of unrelated but I'll post up info once it's in.

This may be a bit of a cop out but Tk Maxx have the odd jersey in there and always really cheap.I picked up a blank Dodgers jersey for €15.They have a lot of Majestic stuff that might be good for training too.

And i'd say keep an eye on ebay for jersies.Just make sure you ask the seller for an invoice and be clear on the shipping cost.I picked up a sweet Phillies road jersey for €33 and that includes shipping.

Went to order a Phillies bull pen cap and while I was ordering picked up a woolie hat and t shirt.total came to 41 dollars went to finish up transaction and saw shipping was $51!!!!!the **** is that?!

Needless to say I cancelled the order.that is extortionate.my mate in the UK ordered a hat a while back and got slapped with a substantial customs charge on delivery.

    Come on MLB.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 13,687 ✭✭✭✭jack presley

Go to footballfanatics.com (don't mind the name, they do all of the Big 4 US Sports). $20 delivery per order which is great value. I'd hold off till after Christmas at this stage though as the tax man might be extra vigilant this time of year. They have a great selection of gear although I've never looked at the Phillies page (didn't want to burn my eyes!)

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 78 ✭✭Crucial Youth

Yeah I was aware of that site too. They didn't do the exact hat I wanted but something similar plus they do this shirt: http://www.footballfanatics.com/MLB_Philadelphia_Phillies_Golf_And_More/Reyn_Spooner_Philadelphia_Phillies_Red_Stadium_Scenic_Button-Down_Shirt which I desperately need in my life : )

Covee.nl also does some serious MLB stuff. They carry mote alternate caps than MLB.com from what I can see. Also good if you are ordering bats, balls or other practice stuff. Shipping isn't too bad either.
