Satellite for this is in Martins Bar, Knocnagree tonight.

Also, we have set aside 3 Ladbrokes Irish Festival Tickets for this. First, second and third will have the option of taking a ticket as part of their prize. Should this option not be taken up by any or all of the winners, the tickets will be with-held for another event.

    Connie,

Interested in playing in this - but unlikely to make it before 7.30pm

Your first break is after Level 5 (circa 7.50pm) - would it be a problem joining in before the break .... apart, obviously, from having to start with a depleted chipstack.

    Hi,
Because 105 players turned up to this last month, we didnt actually get going until 6.40pm. So I would expect it will be close to 6.30pm before we get started this saturday. So you wont have lost that many chips if you are a bit late.(20k start stack and starting at 25-50.)

My num,ber is 087-2833343 if you need to ring me.

    Looking forward to it!

How are numbers looking for tonight's tourney at this stage?
Are you expecting them to be hit becaues it is clashing with Cyprus-Ireland match - or will that be shown in the room? (Hoping it will distract other players - but I'm probably likely to be worst effected:()

I played this, finished in 8th spot but besides that it was a great run tourney and great structure maybe went on for a bit too long, 20k starting stack, i think 15k would be sufficient, but again great game and well ran as per usual

Big Al finished FIRST! Not surprised - he must have got all his chips in the Small Blind v Big Blind battles.

He kept telling the small blind to give him a walk in the big blind and ended up taking 50,000 chips off him - again and again and again.

Great game, guys. Thoroughly enjoyed it. The structure allowed for some great play. Long drive home though at 6.15am.

Yeah, big luck-box!! CL with 5 left and get it all in with 3rd place player for 70% of chips in play, me holding KK, him A-9o, (you just know that ace will arrive on the river!!), lose that obviously and also lose with KK aginst 10-Js AIPF, and finally, my 55 when im the shortie loses to 8-4o whos priced in to call. (should this be in the bb?).

But have to say, I thoroughly enjoyed the game. It is a bit on the long side i guess, but then again, it is billed as the Kerry Deepstack. Definately popular enough to be a well supported monthly game.Might do a bit of tweaking with the structure before the October deepstack, but wont change it by much.

The FT was a very enjoyable experience. Good experienced players generally, and i thought the play was very good. Pity we couldnt stop those short stacks doubling up though!!
