the spas stock or spas with stock has been out of production for some time, so rather rare

    Ah i see :)
yeah you can buy the stock seperately off some third party maufacturer but its like €120 which is a rip off for what it is, the only differencce between the stockless version is that there is no stock...the place where the stock goes is still there however so im suprised some clone company hasnt just made a third party stock for it...maybe they have already and i just havnt seen it though?

ZOMG! I was wondering why my SPAS 12 didn't have a stock :p.

    very funny :P
i meant in terms of performance or the physical differences between the two, obviously it doesnt have a stock hence the name but apart from that there is still the hole and the 'bar' that goes through it that the stock would attach to rather then the body being of different design if you get me.

Ah right after reading it again I get what you were trying to say :D. And yeah the cheapest price I've found a SPAS 12 stock is $100 (not including shipping). So I'm thinking of just making one myself.

yeah its a real deterent to buying them :S
and yeah im sure if you have a bench vice, files, a hacksaw and a access to a drilling machine or just a hand drill if not available you could build one with some cheap bits of 2-3mm thick steel...you could make the shoulder rest out of wood easy enough too. only thing that would be hard is attaching it, im not sure if another kind of 'bar' comes with the stock version
