hi, id like to have my drummer trigger audio/film samples Live with one of his roland drum pads which has a quarter inch output jack....

is there any sampler etc that will hold at least 30 minutes of audio which also has a quarter inch foot trigger jack ....

i dont want to go near laptops and cubase as ive seen too many embarrassing live disasters.......

    any advice would be appreciated....

    thanks

Is something like this any use?

As far as I'm aware, you can export audio from your comp into it's memory.

I don't think that'd do it. It only has 5 minutes sampling time.

I have the next version up (RC50) and I'm very happy with it. It has about 45 minutes sampling time, but costs between €400 - €500.

thanks for the advice guys but the rc-20 won't allow the external footswitch to play a sample...only stop it.....rediculous imo....and the rc-50 is too expensive and complicated......

there has to be something cheap that allows a drummer to put a few bits of audio on it and trigger them with a jack input from a drum pad or footswitch......kind of hit once the sample plays and hit again it stops......
