Hi there. Me and my boyfriend are saving for a car between us. Hypothetically say we both have full licence, which car and which car insurance company would be best for us to be insured on one car together? Thank you

you have to start ringing around im afraid as quotes vary between insurers and its hard to tell which one is the best, try few online quotes,

What type of string is it?

Can you be jointly insured on a car with a partner? I always presumed that anyother isured person was just a named driver. This means they can only drive that car and not get the full benifits of fully comp open insurance.

Id be interested in hearing how you get on as both myself and my other half drive my car as he has a work vehicle. Would much rather him being jointly insured on my car than just named.
