I know there's many threads on this so sorry. I bought a ring a while ago and I was told if was worth about 15/20k, I think I paid after duty and all the rest close to 9k for it. It's over 2carats, plantioum ring and the has diamonds clusters all around it. I'll be in Dublin on Monday, could anyone give me a name of a jewllers that charge a flat fee and might be able to do it there an then, I've a flight to catch but could wait an hour or two there,

You could try Rocks they've got a branch in the Stillorgan Shopping Centre and one on Grafton Street. The staff is the stillorgan one are fantastic. Give them a call and see if they can sort you out.
