Sony Vaio fw31e

    Hey, just wondering if anyone has or had a Sony Vaio fw31e laptop and would like to tell me how it runs for general use and for gaming because I'm thinking of buying one online. I've noticed that they have recently stopped making these models but I can find little online as to the reason why so if anyone knows anything about that just shout away!
    I'm also weary about buying one after reading reviews of other Vaio models such as the cs series which had numerous technical faults. So as I said, if anyone knows anything about this laptop, please tell me....cheers!

    A piece of advice - don't.

    I bought a Sony FW21L in January. Don't get me wrong - the hardware is fine.

    But the bloatware slows it down terribly which after eight months I still haven't been able to remove it. Sony don't supply recovery discs - just a ****ty hard drive partition which contains all the bloatware as well.

    Just tried to find drivers online for the laptop so I could attempt my own clean install - and the Sony site doesn't even recognise the model number.

    Avoid.
