Open call for submission - Comic Art gallery show

    Checked with the mods before posting the following:

    The Blackbird Gallery Kilkenny would like to invite all Irish and Irish based Comic Book Artists to submit work for consideration for POW, a show of Contemporary Irish sequential Art in November 2009. All interested artists should send a short artists bio and at least 4 samples of sequential art* for consideration. There will be a section for webcomics so webcomic artists should send a short artists bio and a link to their webcomic.

    I will be helping to curate the show though the Blackbird Gallery will have finally say in the final line up. The plan is to hopefully bring the show to a number of other locations once it's finished it's run at the Blackbird. The finally look of the show will be decided upon based on those exhibiting but we hope it will be a mixture of original art, digital prints and books.

    *Any work submited must be the artist's own work and can not contain any licensced characters.
