    Hi everyone thinking of organising a public meeting advocating a yes to lisbon vote in longford,its my home town.never done anything like this before its a bit daunting but important i believe.back up welcome ! If your interested in attending Private message me and we ll take it from there.If enough people are interested it might be possible to get some speakers from some of the civic societys advocating a yes vote eg irelandforeurope.lets be hearing from you !

    Go for it if you're interested enough, but I personally believe these things should not be all voluntary in nature, depending on your personal circumstances. There are organisations that might cover any expenses? You will need powerpoint facilities, posters maybe...

    It's great to see people who are politically active, irrespective of how they vote. Too many people are unwilling to get their bony arses off the sofa!

    An idea is print up some kind of invitation "all welcome" etc. and get a few people together to walk through public areas and hand them out. I've been involved in gay rights activism in the past, and thats what we did. Don't leave them on tables, hand it directly to each person. :)
