    hey gang
    hope yyer all well

im over in germany, and have found myself eating out thewhole time, simply cos i cant cook.

i have never really needed to cos i used always live at home, and never needed to cook for myself

so now im in the deep end, and simply cannot afford eating out or eating unhealthy food the whole time!

so im hoping that there is a website that u guys might know of that will go through few simple recipes.
a video to accompany to the recipe would be great, if there is such a website.

    thanks for reading this thread

    all the best

    ed

Try www.cookitsimply.com www.cooks.com or simply google which is what I do the whole time.
On the book front, Delia Smith How to Cook there's a combined books 1 - 3 deals with all the basics and guides you to harder recipes, also The Ultimate 30 Minute Cookbook published by Ted Smart is excellent and Fast Food published by Murdoch Books. Good luck and enjoy :-)

Jamie Oliver's Ministry of Food is targeted at people who don't know how to cook. THere's also a free video podcast version of recipes from that show on itunes. By the way, the Ministry of Food book has been translated to German :-) so no excuse!

Just start off small with basic pasta dishes, or meat&2 veg until you're feeling ready to branch out into sthg more ambitious :)

Well for a start off for a small meal you could have simple beans on toast , you'll get some protien form the beans . Then for breakfasts / snacking /sandwitches you could top up with jams , peanut butter and cereals .
