Just wondering if there's any Galway people here who could tell me how long it took their application to go though and start getting the dole?

Another poster just got their JSB in Galway after 11 weeks.

I've been waiting 20 weeks for my means test for JSA so far.

Galway seems to be the worst in the country. Just my luck

Ha, and it's one of the most expensive too. Fantastic system that is! I'm not back in the country till early Sept - is there absolutely nothing I can do before then to speed things up??

Afraid not - you'll just have to go in on the first day you're back. Don't worry if you don't have any documents with you, they'll tell you what to bring back but your claim will be dated on the day you went in rather than a few days later when you find all your evidence.
