    I meant to post photos of my bass when I got it. Which was... eh... three years ago. But I just got it refinished so here's some pretty pictures now. :pac:

    I got it made by Shamray in Moscow in early 2006. The pickups are Q-tuners.

    Quite linear and clean sounding, I really like them. My amp configuation is unusual to begin with though, so I don't have a great basis for comparison. The variable pole pieces thing is an interesting idea, but I haven't actually experimented with it enough yet.

    What type of pickups are they again, i remember the good doctor had some on his hotwire aswell but i cant remember the name!

    The body is mahogany. The neck is mahogany and ebony. :)
