    Bass guitarist wanted for young Dublin north side based band.

    -Must be aged between 16-18 years.
    -Must be able to sing (backing vocals).
    -Serious applicants only. Must be dedicated.
    -Experience is recommended, but unnecessary.
    -Influences should be similar to Smashing Pumpkins, Placebo, Incubus, Interpol and Alice in Chains.

    We most certainly are. Could you please reply with a response to each of the conditions if you're interested?

    Example:

    • My influences are AC/DC, Eric Clapton, Garbage, Gorrilaz, Interpol, Jimi Hendrix, Korn, Led Zeppelin, Metallica, Muse, Neil Young, Neutral Milk Hotel, Nirvana, Pink Floyd, Queens of the Stone Age, Radiohead, Smashing Pumpkins, Stevie Ray Vaughan, System of a Down, Weezer, The White Stripes :D
    I can put up a video of me playing bass on youtube if u want?

    is this an original band? Do u have any audio/video recording of u guys playing?

    Could you be a bit more specific, as in how many years?

    The band's name is Empathy (see Bebo or Myspace). We have a couple of videos up on YouTube, but they're not the best quality. You can check out our YouTube page here.

    Anyway... this is our most popular song being performed at this year's Blastbeat National Finals.



    The band has come through a number of changes since this video was recorded last May, so this is not an entirely accurate depiction of the band!

    Anything you could give us would be great though, so please upload any videos you have to YouTube and we'll take a look. You will still have to audition though.
