DS DAMAGED

    My kid split a drink on his DS, wont come on now, screen just flashes once then goes off!
    Wondering is it worth getting repaired?
    Where can you get it fixed?
    Any advice??

    If you contact nintendo in England (you'll get no from any game shop) they will send courier out to your house to collect it and bring to them, they then send you a bill telling how much it will cost to fix, if you don't want to spend that money they send it back to you. postage if you getting it fixed is free (not sure if you dont get it fixed) takes about 10 days. so basically you get to decide if you think its worth spending money or not

    Hi there,

    I can have a look at it for you if you'd like. Its hard to diagnose water damaged problems without actually seeing it so its hard to give a price.

    Do both screens flash or just one? Does it charge (does the orange light come on when you plug the charger it in)

    I'm going on holidays on the 29th so if you wanted me to have a look at it it would need to be before then.

    The top screen flashes for a second and the orange light comes on when charging

    I used these guys recently for a water damaged DS.
    Would recommend them. About 50quid and a 7 day turn around

    It sounds very like your bottom screen needs to be replaced.

    If that is the case, The price would be €30 + P&P
