Best bet would be to ring around all the games, and game stops, they may have it second hand

It's become quite a rare and sought after game and can go for around 80 euros. You'll also have a hard time finding it at a decent price. It's also not very good with some OTT and retarded cutscenes and a first person camera that breaks the game in many ways.

Ah, I enjoyed it. Having said that, I never actually played the original on ps1. I played this after playing MGS 2 on ps2 so I welcomed the first-person camera. Also, metal gear cutscenes are always retarded :-)

They were actually quite subdued in the first metal gear game. Snake turns into neo in MGS Twin Snakes during cutscenes.

Every so often, I get the urge to play Twin Snakes. Then I just play the original MGS, it's pretty much better in every way. On a separate note, the PAL box art was way nicer than the American one posted!
