ive a canon 30d and 2 film cameras one a minolta and the other a phenix (i think).. im looking a getting a couple of new lenses and am wondering are there any lenses that can be used on both traditional film SLR's and DSLRS?
i dont mind having to get a second hand canon film SLR if needs be as i really do love taking shots on film and printing them in the darkroom but am finding im shooting predominately all on digital format these days.
    thanks a million in advance

As far as I can remember you can on the more professional range of canon film cameras..

    Or you can buy adapters..

you can use most canon lenses on digital and film cameras (I assume same with Nikon)

I have a Canon Eos-3 which is on loan to a boardsie at the moment (just to play with)

as long as it is not the EF-S lenses, the canon film and digital SLRs will take any of the other lenses.

Stick with the EF lenses and you will be fine. EF-s will only work on the digital 1.6 crops and FD will only work on the old maual ones (although I think you can get adapters for them).
