I use one primarily as a mentor of a couple of Camogie teams. My daughter uses one for over a year and is awaiting a replacement using a new design. All I can say is they "feel" lighter but behave no different to a very good top quality hurl. They do not break in blocks, but it would be wrong to say they cannot break they have to for safety reasons. The one difference and I can only tell you this from users is the slender handle is a very very comfortable and allows you to improve your pull/swing. For ground hurling they are really strong, they do a lovely side line cut, but they come into there own with long puck's. I find them fantastic and if you look at the Cultec/blogs you will see them in action. I find them a wonderful enhancement. Worth a try.
