    Hi guys

I am having a little trouble in excel.........

I have just discovered the wonderful world of conditional formating..... i was hoping somebody can help me or point me in the right direction....

what I would like to do is; under a column 'h or i' be able to enter the number 1 or 2 and set the conditional formating to display the current date......... for example...... enter the digit 1 into a cell and turn it into a date dd/mm/yy

    any help would be greatful

To insert the current date, press CTRL+; (semi-colon).

Alternatively, if you want the formula to constantly update use =TODAY()

In help, look up "insert date".
