    Folks,

My wife and her partner set up a business last year. Ive asked a friend to design a site for them but we just found out that the partners brother already registered the domain.
Is there a way to transfer ownership of the domain so that we can register the site?

Now that the domain is registered, you just need to tell your website hosting company your domains nameservers and then can assign your domain to your page. You can get your nameservers from where ever the domain has been registered.

em....whitelightrider only explain changing the nameservers. Your hosting company of your domain name may have a domain control panel for you so you can change the ownership from there. If not then they should be able to do it for you.
