yesterday it was a week since my last period was due. My boyfriend was supposed to go help his sister in tipperary(he lives in wicklow) but changed his mind last minute when my period still hadnt cum. He told his mum the reason and she was very supportive. He went to tip dis mornin and she got me a test. longest drive to the shop ever but she was so nice. even booked me in for crisis pregnancy councillin just in case. lucky enough it was negitive. had the biggest smile on my face. even went shoppin with his mum after. came home earlier and i guess the stress form the last week caught up on me and i havnt been able to stop cryin.is it normal to fell this sad even though it was negitive(which is what i wanted, wer both 20 and in college)

metrovelvet, although it is possible that the OP is experiencing some hormonally induced emotion, your post reads rudely and coarsely which is not acceptable on this forum.

Hi OP- glad to hear you got the result you wanted- I have no experience of a pregnancy scare luckily but I would definitely say that on many occasions after I get a fright or a shock, or even after I build something up in my head only for it to turn out ok in the end anyway, I still often bawl my eyes out. I think it's like a release of tension for me, so maybe it was something similar for you.

On the plus side, it's so great that your boyfriend's mam was so supportive- I'd hope my boyfriend's mam would be as good about it if I was in that situation!

OP, for a period you thought one of the biggest life events a person can have, was possibly happening for you.
    I'd imagine it's 100% normal to be shook up/emotional.

OP u had a scary experience - its normal!
In fact I would not be surprised if your boyfriend and maybe even his mum had a little cry after too :)

dont worry this is completely normal, it was the build up and the nerves i would say the crying just helped to relieve the pent up worry and stress. I know this is completely different but after one of my exams which went really well i felt all teary for no reason(even tho i was happy with how it went) i just put it down to nerves anxiety needing a release. hope your feeling ok now

You're so normal! A lot of girls have scares like this (not that having a baby is a bad thing but sometimes when you least expect/want it). It's natural to have that emotion of relief after all that worry. Glad you feel better.
