Hey, I applied to a job 2 weeks ago online by sending them my cv. I have yet to get any word from them whatsoever. Now this normally wouldn't brother me, but this company responds to all applicants. Hey,

I applied to a job 2 weeks ago online by sending them my cv. I have yet to get any word from them whatsoever. Now this normally wouldn't brother me, but this company responds to all applicants. In fact a friend of mine applied the same day as me, and within 3 days they responded to him saying he did not get the job.

Should I send an email inquiring about the status of my application? I'm worried that maybe it got lost during the process.
