I'd be interested in this. I'd suggest Greystones South Beach to facilitate those relying on Public Transport.
yep agree 100% up by the driving range is the best spot also not to much of a walk from the train or bus

i can do the pegging draw and so on as i have been involved in club fishing for a good few years (coming back after a break just for boards lol)

hope we can get at least 15 for this there is 2 months notice after all

    advice on bait

for 5 hours you will need
    a dozen large sandeel
    2 frozen/fresh mackerel
    30 lug
    30 rag
    12 good peeler crab
a few whites if you can get them
bit of squid if the whiting come on time
and some mussel just in case the colies are around

    traces

    variety is important

    scratching rigs
    2 up 1 down
    size 1 on top
    2 middle
    and 4 bottom

    1 hook cliped down belter
the ronseal does exactly what it says on the tin

    bomber rig
2 hooks on 1 clip that spread on impact with the water
    nightmare if you tie wrong

more to follow after a long sleep work is overrated

24th would probably be out for me, club comp in Gurteen.

I can amend some club score cards for use if you want.

I'd suggest a minimum size of 18 cm on this (5pts per fish + the length)
    OR
a 'minimum size' of 20 pts, but with all fish scoring 5 pts regardless of size, and fish 20 and above scoring the length as well

Excluded fish- mackeral, scad, launce, weever, game fish

One other thought is to try and time it so you get some darkness at the end, gives everyone a good chance of getting at least some whiting

I would be interested in that. Day-time would be harder for me, but Sundays is not a bother.

I'm perfectly willing to look stupid JD and freeze my ying yangs off if you'll supply all my bait and show me how to set up the rigs i'll give 20 quid to whatever charity its for.

also airwaysmotorcompany.ie will provide a 50 euro tackle voucher to one of the winners.

if i can't make it u can have the donation anyway. be warned though, bad weather follows me.

i have a rod and reel. i gotta be honest, always hated putting hooks through live worms! always!

edit: or a 20 euro prize voucher and a 50 euro donation, whichever is more suitable. fishing in december! nutters!

I'd be up for this as well, any of the above dates should be good for me. Like Doc, a bit of help with rigs and baits etc would be very welcome.
