burning sensation on inner tighs

    hi everyone,
    i have a burning sensation on the skin of both my inner thighs going from about knee level up to but not into my groin area. its not itchy and there's no visible rash, its just slightly painful. had it now for about two days and im afraid it might spread any suggestions as to what it is or how to get rid

    Have you been out jogging/playing sport or anything that may cause unusual friction?

    It could be something as simple as using a new detergent.
