Cancelled my holiday abroad due to concerns over swine flu (partner is 5 months pregnant and my sis came back from hols with swine flu!!!!!)

Am planning on travelling around our lovely isle, starting with Galway for 2 nights, and would love any submissions on where is worth visiting and for how long, any hotels with good mid week offers, places not to visit, or even just your own experiences....

Its probably because I am recently back from oz and asia that i am lacking on interesting things to do and see on the home patch!!
