    Hey all,
I need some help,I live in Kerry went to school in Limerick(Vocational School Abbeyfeale) and need to sort out a grant,After contacting the limerick VEC admin they said I should contact limerick CoCo,Where as my teacher told me that I needed to get in contact with the Kerry CoCo,I replied to the Limerick VEC and asked which do I contact and I'm yet to get a response..

Now I'm doing a honours degree in UCC which is a 4 year computer science course (CK401)

    Can someone please help?

I thought if you do an hons degree you're eligible for this grant? And this is the form i would use. http://www.studentfinance.ie/downloads/1250241672/Interactive_grant_form_2009_10.pdf

    Thanks!

no matter what degree you do you should be eligable for a grant should the finances of your household meet the requirements.

you fill out the form, get all the necessary documents and get form fa1,fill it out and sent everything into your county council

I'm fairly sure that if you live in Kerry, that's where you would apply.

As pointed out, it's more about your financial situation ... you're not automatically eligible for a grant simply because you're doing an Hons degree.

I am eligible for the grant,For reasons which i won't say online :p

It seems i need the HEG grant and need to fill out the form and return it to the Kerry CoCo by the end of the month,

I made a mistake the VEC applies to UL applicants which my teacher was trying to make me pick :)

Hopefully filling out this form and getting it all done in time should be enough!
