I've never services a car before, but am handy enough round the house.

My girlfriend has a toyota starlet 1.3, i'm wondering how difficult is servicing a car.
Where can i find out what i need to do, what needs replaced / tightened, checked etc.

There's not Haynes manual for it as far as i can see.

    Any help'd be appreciated :)

Its easy to do the basic service, oil and oil filter, air filter and spark plugs.Minimal tools are required. If you search around here, there's a thread dedicted to servicing your own car, with pics.

service on a Startet is childsplay. however, if it's your first time doing it, check everything twice, and take your time.

for jobs like spark plugs, maybe have someone else on hand to show you how to fit them without wrecking the threads.
