i thought i would just mention this.

I have never been the most comfortable of flyers, but the last few weeks i have been flying into LCY with Cityjet. Thanks to Cityjet and their fleet of nifty little RJ85s, my fear has become enjoyment.

I am really enjoying using them at the moment, apart from the fact that LCY is a brilliant airport, cityjet are great and the ride is brilliant, apart from the time I used the rear toilet, which does give the impression of trying to have a pee whilst riding a bucking bronco!

    Great cabin crew as well:D

I agree they are a great little airline, flew SNN-CDG recently with them and couldent fault them at all ,really professional onboard crew, and all passengers get well fed and watered during the flight.

Thanks to Cityjet and their fleet of nifty little RJ85s, my fear has become enjoyment.

The free bar onboard helps their nervous flyers also I'm guessing:D

Of course they can afford to offer a free bar as they have very expensive fares.

I use Cityjet all the time to get to CDG in Paris for my connections.

Great airline with nice service and reasonable seating. Can't comment on cityjet fares because I use air france to book, there RJ 85s seem pretty powerful for their size, they are also allowed use really steep banking angles which can be a bit offputting to nervous flyers.

Having said that, very often that can be significantly offset by the difference in the costs of travel between central London and London City airport versus that to or from Luton, Gatwick or Stansted or indeed Heathrow.

I'm off to London on Tuesday evening. €48 with Cityjet or €48 with RyanAir. Doesn't seem very different to me. Admittedly this doesn't seem normal and if I had been going in the morning Ryanair were cheaper.

And the train from whichever airport you were possibly flying to with Ryanair to central London would have cost far more than the DLR from London City!
