stolen laptops

hi there, any idea where one would go to recover a stolen laptop??? Im sure there are some repair places around that get various scumbags in with their stash?? somewhere around the tallaght area? Also has anyone ever had any success in getting a laptop back after it being stolen? thanks

You'd be very fortunate to get it back I'm afraid. I had one customer in before making a similar request to keep an eye out for a certain make/model but never heard or saw it. I reckon tell the guards and give them a detailed description in case they ever find a stash of them as you put it.
