Quality warm stylish coat

Really want to invest in a good classic wardrobe staple but also want it to be warm and stylish (I'd expect to keep a coat for two Winters). Almost bought one from Karen Millen last year but stupidly didn't to go "shop around" and of course it was gone when I went back.

I'd spend up to €300 and am hoping to go to London in the near future too so I could buy there also. Anyone got any recommendations for good coats to buy in Dublin, London or online?

Also just to point out my problem with the usual hight street shops (Topshop, Miss Selfridge etc) is not that the coats aren't nice but they're really crap quality (not that warm) and always start to look bobbly very quickly.

You might see something you like here. I really like the Marleybone coat. Have already bought the Jazzy Trench Coat in green with matching hat. Good luck!

If you're wanting an investment, I'd say have a look at the camel coats that are big this season. They're ever so glamorous and are timeless, imho ;)
Have a look in all the big department stores - BT/BT2/Cleary's. In London you've got Selfridges for all the big names. I'd also have a look in the vintage shops there, you may pick up a designer bargain. There are vintage shops solely for designer wear
