Some of you may already view the weather section of boards but for those of you who dont I find M.T. Cranium is really good at nailing down our weather and with the weather being so unpredictable he gives you a very good idea of whats ahead weather wise on a daily basis. I find it great when trying to organise a golf day or deciding which day of the week to play.
Worth a look, and far superior to Met.ie imho.

    thanks for that.

I like to use Accuweather, it's fairly accurate in my experience - http://www.accuweather.com/ukie/

Also if you want to check the weather before you head out for a round, this link gives a very accurate 3 hour rainfall radar forecast -

Thanks for this - I love to drop in on this forum and watch these weather wizards. It's especially good in the winter - when the signs give the faintest suggestion of upcoming snowfall, they all go off like Roman candles, jump in their cars and head for the hills.

I have the forum subbed and look at it regularly. For us on the west coast, the met.ie rainfall radar is also quite reliable. More reliable still is to stand on the first tee at Dooks and look west - there you'll often see the next Atlantic rainstorm rolling up its sleeves ready to march in and screw up your Stableford.
