Where To Recycle VHS Tapes?

Anyone know of any place that actually recycles them rather than selling them on or tossing them into a landfilll?

I brought about 200 of them to my local charity shop and they did not want them. I then went to the nearest recycling depot and they did not want them either. The man in charge there told me to bring them home and put them in the black bin !! I ended up putting an ad on jumbletown.ie and they were gone within an hour.

they are all plastic so the green bin would suit
