xbmc on atv - video quality is very poor

as stated im using a atv as my media centre, running xbmc on it, i have a 2tb drive plugged into it. When ever i play a movie from the drive the quality is watchable, but at times is very poor. whenever i play from the pc the quality is great. Does anybody have the same issue. Also if i watch a trailer from the main apple…

Try editing some of the video settings while playing the movie in xbmc. Such as deinterlacing method.
