    Hey there,

Just wondering if you guys can help. Have a few small niggling injuries, basically still playing GAA, Preseason rugby training and trying to fit in gym work has left me with nice tight spots in my left calf and right hammer.

I want to get a good deep tissue rub down. Not the usual when you go to a chartered physio and she spends ten minutes taking your history and asking how it happened, ten vaguely working the muscle, and the last ten teaching you revolutionary stretches, before parting you with 50 of your hard earned.

So does anyone know of a good sports injury therapist/massuer, who isnt afraid to get in with the thumbs and knuckles (im not looking for a cowboy butcher mind you) and can give me a good 40mins to an hour rub down without costing me a fortune.

    Im southside/central dublin.

Mods if im in the wrong place, please feel free to move me

    Hi There

I can personally recommend a guy in Dundrum, his name is Ciaran Fitzpatrick
and his phone number is 086 367 3654.

He is a physical therapist who works on some of Ireland's international athletes and is very good. He is not a clock watcher and you can expect to be on the table for about 1 hour or so. Cost is €70 per session but IMHO it is well worth it.

Another I have heard good things about but have never been to is Brian Thomas in Dun Laoghaire. See http://www.biofitsystems.com/about.html

    Hope that helps.

    Best Regards,

    M
