Just don't buy in typical wedding shoe shops! Try Dune or somewhere else high street!

    +1

I got 2 pairs -one from Dune and one from Next so that I could try both on. Ended up going for the Next ones which looked nicer (and saved me €100). Then after all that saw another pair online (one of the ebay shops) and went with those - rip off of a designer pair, cost €75 + p&p. Returned the next ones and got a full refund!

Put bridal shoes into a google search and loads of ebay shops etc come up.

I don't know many people who go for the 'bridal' shoes anymore - strappy sandals or embellished Dune etc seem much more fashionable.

Mine were a creamy gold kinda colour - they were lovely with the dress but don't look 'bridal' on their own. Have worn them since with another outfit!

for high street shops. i got a pair of pearl strappy sandals that match my dress perfectly in m&s. they cost about E25 but look more expensive and as every saving counts when planning a wedding its worth having a look.
    happy shopping

Bought mine in Cinders on Wicklow St, Dublin yesterday. They have a nice selection and they also provide a service where you bring the shoes in after your wedding and they will dye them a different colour for you!

Sales assistants were very nice too.
