Just found out I'm a definite for NCAD now that i've met the requirements.
Just wondering if there are any students out there who can give me an insight into the college.

The socieites, the people, the first day, the tutors, the parties
Just so i know what to expect

Societies are there, but not that active... They're not overly needed anyways - Plenty of ways of having a laugh without them. Homebrew society is probably one of the handiest if you like a bit of free drink. People are all quite sound, everyone has a similar enough interest in art/design, so the majority of you will get on well.

First day depends on your tutors. You might have to take out your portfolio/summer project and show it to the tutors, you might do something different. Tutors are quite sound. They might appear a bit 'mean' on the first day, but they're not really.

Parties.. Well, they are what you make of them, and there's plenty of them about.

Your SU this year are Frank and Orlaith, they're nice folk.
