    met a photographer last night who found this guy, he was looking for old cottages to photograph and met him he won the ras in the 50's also cycled to Dublin to pick up his racer and rode back with it on his back

    I'm from the area. That fella lives in a shythole of a house with corrugated iron instead of glass. I never actually realised anyone lived in the house for years.

    I don't however know anything more apart from his history but I've always thought he was plain mad. I actually thought he died at one stage.
