I would go for this http://www.tokyo-model.com.hk/ecshop/goods.php?id=846 or this one http://www.airsplat.com/Items/AC-UPI-DF-CPB07.htm , defo Tanio Koba Twisted. It works like a charm on 300-330 fps.

The Vanaras barrel looks lovely but unfortunately its pretty much a clone barrel in lipstick.

My personal preference when it comes to barrels would be the madbull black python or the promethius barrels. best ive used. :)

Prometheus or Systema, the TK Twist barrels are meant to be obverrated, the rifling effect the try to emulate is not really suited to a round 6mm bb, cant speak for the Madbull.

The whole idea of Twisted barrel is not to give BB an additional spin, but to create air cusion to seperate BB from the barrell walls and stop it from bouncing. It has nothing to do with real rifling.

actually your 100% rigth on that, i rem seeing the review now, i still dont think he was inpressed with the barrel tho, but that may have been due to its performance with higher fps levals as it was stateside.
Maybe not something Mr Kobayoshi would be thinking when desiging product mainly fot the Jap market.

those twist barrels are a gimick really, i understand how they claim the work, but they really dont do what it says on the tin. the original idea would have been to capture impressionable airsofters who saw "Oooh, like real gun barrel" and then put some marketing scam on it.
in reality their barrels with the "rifling" inside let air around the bb in an uneven fashion since when the bb passes the rifling the air wants to take the path of least resistance, ie the rifling groove around the bb.

I never had any faith in these barrels to begin with but i got one for my MP5 just out of curiosity, waste of money in my opinion. :)

They dont rifle... its inverted rifling... it stabalises the round inside the barrel, stopping it bouncing... its bloody effective to be honest... anything sub 350 will see a great advantage on it...

Richie: firstly, its NOT to emulate a real gun... it doesnt make the bb spin, and no, elvis is dead.... The barrel allows air to rotate, through the path of least resistance... uneven fashion? actually MORE even than a regular barrel design...

I understand exactly how they claim they work, but in reality they just dontlive up to all that.
ive own one and compared to the standard G&G barrel and madbull barrel, it was crap.
