Our driveway and yard need re doing was origionally thinking millwaste until they told us it's €750 a ton! That's what the place said anyway.

Gravel seems to be the cheapest option but, may be a silly question, is there anything else cheaper again but that you'd still be able to park a car on?

Thought we'd have a bigger budget for it but between hiring a digger and labour it's will have swallowed the budget up.

750 a ton that cant be right.:eek:Must be 7.50 a ton.:D If you just want somewhere to drive on you should get 804.That is what the building sites use when making roadways. After a while of driving the car on it it will go like concrete. My local quarry has stuff like 804 it is sand and chippings mixed. That is only 10 euro a ton . It makes a great driveway and goes rockhard.

Or if your close you could get road plannings dont know everywhere they sell them but i do know you can get them in boston .The plannings off the road. There 8 euro a ton put them down level and then hire a roller and you have a great driveway cheap.
